Our Sizing

Measurements on Clothes are taken Flat (in inches) and then doubled, and converted to cm.  A flat measurement is not the same as a body measurement, and it is best to get a similar item from your own wardrobe and measure it using our guide below.

As we do not make any of the garments ourselves, we can not control the sizes the manufacturers have put on the garment. We have provided measurements even for the modern items and sized them according to our measurements, even if that conflicts with the size on the tag. We will mention this in most cases. Items that are supposed to sit loose, or may have stretch will fit differently than things that are fitted, and we have factored this into our approximate size even if the measurements are larger.

On Bettina darling, we use US and European sizes. Very few Australian shoe brands use Australian sizing, and most people only know their US or European shoe size. If in doubt, use the measurements provided.
On the listings the interior of the shoe is measured, not the size of the foot that would fit it. To get the best idea, take a pair of shoes that fit you best, and measure the inside.
